It is non-intrusive and proving very popular with
individuals who benefit from a sensory diet.
Cost per treatment is £15 Allow 1 hour for initial consultation. Each session thereafter will last up to 30minutes.

Benefits of Functional Reflex Therapy

The  benefits from using FRT will largely depend on the person receiving the therapy and their individual needs or circumstances.
Benefits may include
  • Encouraging relaxation/release of tension
  • Stimulate the brain to produce well being hormones, encouraging calmness in the body.
  • Helping to focus on relaxation ‘in the moment’ which may have an ongoing effect on the individual and their environment.
  • Inducing social interaction and encouraging communication.
  • Reduction in challenging behaviour.
  • Using objects of reference to help to communicate the session which may reduce an individual’s initial anxiety.
  • Where appropriate that the receiver takes some responsibility for preparing the session and helps to tidy away using the ‘tool kit’.
  • Improving concentration and focus.
  • Opportunity to enjoy positive touch.
  • Helping those receiving  the therapy to prepare for ongoing activities
Functional Reflex Therapy and Reflexology  must not replace conventional medicine.
It should not be used as an alternative without seeking professional advice, however, as a complementary therapy
it can be utilised alongside medication already taken.
